What is Premier Caring Hands?
Premier Caring Hands, is a top quality, easily accessible personal services company dedicated to providing professionally trained care givers to meet clients’ non-medical personal care needs. We provide caring, compassionate, dependable and positive individuals to provide one on one individualized care. Our goal is to serve others as we would want to be served.
What areas do you cover?
We have State Certified Offices in Louisville, Lexington, Richmond, Pikeville, London, and Elizabethtown, Kentucky and in Scottsburg, Indiana.
Is Premier Caring Hands right for me?
Our services are set up to cater to many different needs. Our clients include people with decreased sight or hearing, those recovering from major surgery, chronic medical conditions, Alzheimer's and Parkinson’s disease, or any other condition that could make everyday routines difficult. Are home care services covered by Medicare?
No. Medicare does not cover Non-Medical Personal Care Services.
Are home care services covered by insurance?
Yes. Many long-term care insurance, worker’s compensation, and automobile insurance policies will reimburse for these kinds of services. Premier Caring Hands will help you and your family determine what a policy will actually cover, and we will provide the documentation your insurance company requests for approval and payment purposes.
Are there other ways to pay for in-home Non Medical Services?
Yes. Funds from Reverse Mortgages, Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts can also be utilized to pay for Services.
Are the caregivers bonded & insured?
Yes. Every Premier Caring Hands caregiver is insured and bonded. Every caregiver that works for our Agency is an employee of our agency and as such they are covered with general liability insurance and worker’s compensation insurance.
Do I have a choice of who my caregiver will be?
Yes, absolutely. We will match your criteria to the Pool of Caregivers that we employ and send the best fit for your particular situation. We carefully Screen Employees and train them to your specific needs. We also will never send a caregiver whom you are not completely satisfied with and have approved. We will also accommodate any request for a change that you may have.
Can Premier Caring Hands help with medications?
Yes. We are allowed to assist with medication reminders. Reminding clients to take their medications, opening packages, reporting side effects, and assisting with pre-measured medication dispensers are all ways in which we can help. Although our caregivers cannot administer medications, they can assist the individual who shares in the responsibility of taking their own medication.
How much does your service cost?
The cost of service varies from case to case depending on the Level of care required. During your free, no obligation consultation we will work with you to determine what care is needed and how much it will cost.
How do I take advantage of Premier Caring Hands services?
A no obligation consultation is the first step to take in order to take advantage of our services. During this consultation we can explain in more detail what services are available to you, answer any questions you might have, and help you choose a care plan that is right for you. What if my needs change?
Our care plans are extremely flexible. If your needs suddenly change, we will be able to adjust our services quickly in order to provide you with the care you need. You will not be contractually obligated to receive any service longer than you need it.
